Precautions for high temperature cleaning of double-layer tanks

1. During the use of double-layer tanks of skid-mounted gas stations, cleaning work should be carried out regularly, which is not only beneficial to the quality of oil products but also prolongs the service life of double-layer tanks.

2. When cleaning the double-layer tanks of skid-mounted gas stations at high temperatures, the heated surface will suddenly encounter cold water paint surface, which will crack and age too quickly, which will not only damage the surface of the mobile fuel stations but also seriously affect the use effect.

3. When cleaning double-layer tanks, cleaning and maintenance work should be avoided under high temperature conditions, because cleaning the oil tanks at high temperatures will affect the performance of the double-layer tanks of skid-mounted gas stations. In order to ensure the good usability of double-layer tanks, we should strictly abide by the regulations.

Five characteristics that explosion-proof barrier devices must have

Safety: The indicator of gasoline safety performance is mainly the flash point, and the flash point value strictly stipulated by the national standard is ¡Ý55¡æ. If the flash point is too low, it means that there are light components mixed in the gasoline, which will bring safety hazards to the storage, transportation and use of gasoline, and will also cause the automobile engine to fail to work properly.

Stability: refers to the stability of gasoline under natural conditions and long-term storage. It is characterized by colloid, induction period and iodine value. The lower the colloid, the better, and the longer the induction period, the better. The national standard stipulates that the actual colloid per 100 ml of gasoline shall not exceed 5 mg. The iodine value indicates the content of olefins.

Anti-knock: refers to the ability of gasoline to resist knock combustion under various conditions of use. The anti-knock property of automotive gasoline is expressed by octane number. The higher the octane number, the better the anti-knock property. The size of gasoline anti-knock ability is related to the chemical composition. Branched alkanes, olefins and aromatics usually have excellent anti-knock properties. The octane number of isooctane is specified to be 100, which means good anti-knock property; the octane number of n-heptane is 0, which means poor anti-knock property. The octane number of gasoline is determined by an octane number machine. High-octane gasoline can meet the needs of high-compression gasoline engines. A high compression ratio of a gasoline engine means high thermal efficiency and fuel savings. Improving the octane number of gasoline mainly relies on increasing the high-octane gasoline component, but it can also be achieved by adding anti-knock agents such as MTBE. The grades of gasoline are divided according to the octane number.

Corrosiveness: Corrosiveness refers to the property of gasoline to corrode storage tanks, pipelines, valves, carburetors, cylinders and other equipment during storage, transportation and use. It is characterized by total sulfur, mercaptan, copper sheet test and acid value.

Volatility: refers to the ease with which gasoline evaporates in the carburetors. It has an important impact on the engine's starting, warming up, acceleration, air resistance, fuel consumption, etc. The volatility of gasoline is comprehensively evaluated by three indicators: distillation range, vapor pressure, and gas-liquid ratio.

Six qualifications for installation and construction of skid-mounted gas stations

In the chemical and petroleum industries, explosion and flame retardancy are the most important of all jobs, so the qualifications required when installing explosion-proof refueling devices are also very strict. The construction qualifications of other industries are normally one or three at most, but the installation of explosion-proof refueling devices in the petroleum industry requires six basic qualifications. Today we will introduce these six qualifications to you.

1. Barrier explosion-proof skid-mounted refueling device engineering construction unit qualification certification materials. At least include: Level 3 (or above) qualification certificate for professional contracting of chemical and petroleum equipment pipeline installation projects, construction safety production license, and special operation qualification certification materials for construction personnel of barrier explosion-proof oil tank modification projects;

2. Inspection report of barrier explosion-proof materials by a testing agency with corresponding qualifications approved by national authoritative agencies;

3. List of main testing and inspection instruments and equipment equipped to meet construction quality and safety requirements;

4. Construction unit safety management system, operating procedures, accident emergency rescue plan and other relevant documents;

5. Barrier explosion-proof material product qualification certificate and explosion-proof performance self-inspection report;

6. Certification materials required for other relevant matters.
