Guide to disassembly and installation of skid-mounted fuel station oil tanks
Since its introduction, skid-mounted fuel station have been favored by oil-using production companies for their significant advantages such as modularity, flexibility, high safety, and short construction period. In the process of using Skid-mounted fuel stations, it is inevitable to encounter the situation of location relocation. For Skid-mounted fuel stations, flexibility is very significant, so relocation at any time has become its main competitive advantage. However, when relocating Skid-mounted fuel stations, the disassembly and installation of Skid-mounted fuel station oil tanks must strictly comply with safety regulations and technical standards to ensure the safety and compliance of the construction process. The following are key steps and precautions:
I. Oil tank disassembly process
1.Construction preparation
Operators must hold relevant special operation certificates (such as hazardous chemicals operation certificates, welder certificates, etc.). And construction personnel must undergo professional training and be familiar with the operation process and safety regulations.
Check whether the site meets the construction conditions, set up a safety warning area, prohibit unrelated personnel from entering, and the site needs to be equipped with explosion-proof tools, anti-static clothing, gas masks, fire extinguishers, etc.
Ensure that electrical equipment meets explosion-proof requirements, and open flame operations are strictly prohibited. Confirm that the oil tank has been stopped, cut off the power supply, and set up a warning line.
2.Oil tank drain
Close the oil tank inlet and outlet valves, remove residual oil, disconnect all connecting pipelines and seal them with blind plates.
Open the manhole cover for ventilation, detect the combustible gas concentration (LEL ¡Ü 20%) in the tank, and enter after ensuring safety. Personnel can wear gas masks to enter and clean.
3.Oil tank cleaning
Use steam or inert gas (such as nitrogen) to replace the oil and gas in the tank.
Manually clean the sludge and residue and properly dispose of them (dispose of them according to hazardous waste standards).
4.Oil tank removal
Remove all connecting pipes (oil pipelines, oil and gas recovery pipes, etc.) and seal them with blind plates to prevent oil and gas leakage.
Remove ground auxiliary facilities (such as gas pumps, process pipelines), and then remove the main body of the oil tank.
Fill the oil tank with water to prevent residual oil and gas from causing an explosion.
Use a crane to lift the oil tank steadily to avoid tilting or collision.
5. Site cleaning
Clean the oil stains on the outer wall of the oil tank and the surrounding environment to prevent secondary pollution.

II. oil tank installation process
1. Foundation construction
The new oil tank must be installed on a concrete foundation that meets the standards to ensure stability and good anti-seepage treatment.
Double-layer oil tanks must be equipped with oil leakage monitoring devices to prevent leakage pollution.
2. Oil tank hoisting and fixing
Use a crane to place the oil tank steadily on the foundation, adjust the level and fix the legs.
Connect the oil inlet pipe, oil outlet pipe and oil and gas recovery system to ensure sealing.
3. Equipment commissioning
Perform oil tank pressure test to ensure no leakage.
Check whether the safety devices such as liquid level gauge, overflow valve, automatic fire extinguisher are working properly.
4. Acceptance and trial operation
Perform combustible gas detection to ensure no safety hazards.
Test oil filling and observe the system operation, and officially put it into use after confirming that there is no abnormality.

III. safety precautions
Fire and explosion prevention: Fireworks are strictly prohibited in the operation area, and a hot work permit is required for hot work.
Anti-static measures: When unloading oil, it is necessary to connect the static grounding wire to control the oil flow speed (¡Ü0.71m/s).
Personnel protection: Operators need to wear anti-static clothing and protective gloves, and avoid chemical fiber clothing.
Emergency preparation: Emergency supplies such as fire extinguishers and fire sand are available on site.
IV. regulations and standards
Follow the "Automobile Gas Station Design and Construction Specifications" (GB 50156).
Oil tanks must pass the national fire and explosion prevention test and be equipped with automatic fire extinguishing systems.
